Dr. Feffer has been my dentist for over 20 years, and I have always been so impressed with his professionalism. He has done crown work, root canal treatments, gum surgery, and worked on complicated dental issues for me. His work has always been top quality and I credit him with saving many of my teeth that were severely damaged or decayed when I went to him for care. I had problems with my teeth since childhood, almost all were crowned by college, and then all were damaged by a hygenist who scraped away the margins because my teeth were so soft. I then found Dr. Feffer and since then have had only good experiences.

Dr. Feffer is always current on equipment and technology, as well as his skills and knowledge. He goes beyond the average dentist in minimizing pain and maximizing results.

He puts me at ease and I actually enjoy going to the dentist.

I highly recommend Dr. Feffer, especially to those who have had bad experiences with other dentists, or who find themselves fearful of dental visits, as well as everyone who wants the best care.

Dr Feffer has been my dentist of choice for 11 years now. Prior to finding Dr. Feffer, I just didn't go to the dentist! While its not my favorite thing to do, the doctor has removed all of the anxiety associated with dentist visits.

I was in a terrible accident and broke many of my teeth when I was 12 years old. Since that time I have spent countless hours in a dental chair. I first came to Dr Feffer for a second opinion 17 years ago and was immediately convinced I had found a true professional. He is a pure joy! I've never seen someone take so much pride and pleasure in what they do. Dr Feffer has a wonderful calming manner and explains everything he will do to give you a beautiful smile. I just had a crown and some bonding replaced and am absoluted thrilled with the outcome. Dr Feffer never ceases to amaze me with his skill.

Dr. Feffer is the best I had issues with going to the dentist and that changed instantly once I stared using Dr. Feffer. I worked for the Walgreens as a pharmacy technician so I came to know the Dr through the many prescriptions I filled. I began to ask about him through my patients.
I decided to give him a try. I was very pleased with him and his staff and the calmness he exudes when working with you. I continue to see him even though my commute to him is a bit of a hike since I moved away and no longer work across the street.
I have recommened three other people who worked in the pharmacy chain who all still go to Dr. Feffer also. I'd switch insurance before I'd give up Dr. Feffer.

I began using Dr. Feffer when I lived Downtown in the mid 1990's. I never liked going to the Dentist. Actually I hated going to the Dentist. I didn't like the needles or the drilling or any of it. All of that changed with Dr. feffer. He has the most easing demeaner and truly tries to give you the most pain free experience. I never feel the needles any more and I don't fear anything about going to the Dentist. I like his style so much that I continue to drive downtown from Riverwwoods because I trust him so much. Absolute highest recommendation possible!

Dr. Feffer fixed my smile by replacing two crowns and adding 4 veneers. I've been very pleased with the results -- my teeth have not looked this good in years. While his services are not the cheapest, they are reasonable considering his location in Lincoln Park and the high level of service provided -- after all, you often get what you pay for. I'd never trust my dental health to the lowest cost provider anyways. His staff is always pleasant and his chair-side manner is very reassuring. I'd recommend him to anyone needing cosmetic work.
Additionally, his staff was very helpful in processing my insurance.

I asked for Dr. Feffer's number after seeing his work on some business associates. I knew, with my history, that I needed extensive work - major projects. During these projects(that needed careful planning) my opinions and needs were considered at all times. Let me say that Dr. Feffer has the best "chair-side" manner of any medical practioner I have been to. He compassionately explains the current situation and expectations of the ideal. Pain prevention is a top priority.
I just had 6 ceramic crowns done and I could not be happier! Not only is Dr. feffer's artistry extraordinary, his depth of knowledge is equally impressive. The finished product is incredible. I am confident with my smile and my dental health. Every step of the way the communication has been excellent. The entire office has master-level experience with a kind, professional demeanor. This doctor really goes the distance for you! I also have friends and family that have the same positive feelings.

After a horrible accident I came to Dr. Feffer not knowing if I'd ever smile again. As is his usual manner, he took time to reassure and enlighten me about the options that were available for future treatment. Now with caps and implants I can smile again and not be embarassed by the way my teeth look. He is a gentle and caring practicioner. Normally, I wouldn't have undergone these procedures. But now that I have, I have nothing but admiration for his skills.

Dr. Feffer is a very gentle and careful dentist. For me everything stayed the way he put it, I mean filling and crowns! He's a great doctor who does not hesitate to talk to you about everything. The billing part was not as bright as his skills thought, however you'll get tons of reminders from his office about scheduling next appointment.

I've been going to Dr. Feffer for alot of yrs., when I had moved and went to another DDS. in Northbrook closer to my home
it wound up not so good. I came back to Dr, Feefer and he had to re-due all the work I had done. I was haing pain. the work I had done was done wrong. I tell all my friends this is the dentist that provides NO PAIN. He tells you what he's doing as he's doing it. Dr. Feffer is the best, he is not that expensive and he really cares about the peolpe that sit in his chair. I live in Deerfield, he's worth the drive.

I recently moved to Chicago and found myself having some serious toothaches. I had no dentist recommendations from friends and underwent an exhaustive search of dentists in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview. I happened to bump into Dr. Feffer's webpage - http://www.lakeviewdds... - and was rather impressed with it. I find website presentation rather persuasive.

As a result, I gave his office a call and was greeted by the nicest receptionist. After describing my plight, the receptionist told me that she could squeeze me in THAT day. I was excited beyond belief at the idea of addressing the toothaches so soon.

The office is tucked away on the second floor of a rather long two-story building on Diversey. The office was very clean and had several magazines for me to browse and quell the anxiety that I get from going to the dentist. I was greeted by the receptionist as soon as I walked into the office- she was the same woman with whom I had spoken with on the phone earlier that morning. She took down my insurance information and asked me to have a seat. Meanwhile, Dr. Feffer popped into the waiting room to say hello and introduce himself, telling me that he would see me very shortly.

I was then escorted back to a dentist chair by a dental hygienist. The chairs overlook Diversey and provide a great "people watching" scene. The hygienist was very polite and asked about the tooth pain. She then took x-rays which soon appeared on a monitor connected to the chair, which was placed in front of me so I could clearly see the images. Dr. Feffer then came over and reviewed the x-rays, enlarging them and taking time to review each picture. He then directed his attention to me and began to explain in detail what was wrong with the teeth. He calmly and patiently explained the problems revealed by the x-rays. He made sure to answer all of my questions. We then planned on scheduling an appointment to address the teeth, which all required new fillings. I was led back to the receptionist's desk and Dr. Feffer said his farewell and shook my hand.

On my second visit, the receptionist greeted me again with a friendly smile. We had been conversing during the week between appointments because I was having difficulty with insurance and required extra information from my old dentist. Thankfully, she took care of everything, calling both the insurance and the old dentist to extract records. Dr. Feffer even called my former dentist at one point to discuss my teeth.

The same dental hygienist seated me in the dentist chair and Dr. Feffer soon came over and applied a local anesthetic. Dentists make me VERY nervous when needles become involved. I had a little bit of a freak out, but the hygienist calmed me down and gave me a tissue and Dr. Feffer apologized for having to give me a shot. The shot, thanks to the local anesthetic, didn't even hurt that much and Dr. Feffer was very speedy in giving it. He then launched into replacing the fillings in my teeth, checking in with me often to see how I was doing, asking if I was experiencing pain or needed a break to close my mouth. After removing the old fillings, he constructed new ones, paying extra attention to them to assure that they not only would make my teeth feel better but look great. After everything was all done, he gave me a mirror to examine the new fillings. I've never really paid much attention to how the fillings in my teeth looked, I just knew that they were the same color as the tooth. However, when comparing my old fillings with the new ones created by Dr. Feffer, I could definitely see a difference. They looked fantastic. It looked as though the teeth had never been touched by a dentist. The filling appeared to be a natural part of the tooth, complete with cosmetically accurate grooves.

I really can't speak highly enough of the team at Dr. Feffer's office. His receptionist had to dig up some details and make a lot of calls to address issues with insurance and former dental records. The dental hygienist had to deal with my emotional panic attack when I was about to get the fillings replaced. And Dr. Feffer fixed the pain in my mouth and made the teeth look better than ever, all the while being patient, polite, and friendly throughout. He also has a very soothing voice that takes the edge off of my anxiety.

I've already made an appointment to get a regular cleaning and have now found a new dentist in Chicago. I couldn't be more pleased!

As someone who has developed dental anxiety (mainly related to past dental experiences), I was so happy to have found Dr. Feffer! He makes the visit to the dentist a pleasant one. I seriously can't believe I put the words pleasant and dentist in the same sentence, but alas, I did! Seriously, I actually didn't gag when getting my teeth cleaned or having 3 fillings! You know how some dentists are just sloppy and you end up swallowing all the grossness that should be suctioned...well, NOT with Feffer! I have yet to gag or be grossed out!
He uses state-of-the-art equipment, is highly professional, and very talented...my fillings look amazing! He, along with his staff, are very friendly and easy-going. I will actually GO to the dentist now and NOT be stressed. Great dentist and staff!

I take my whole family to Dr. Feffer. It is not really convenient from my home but like going to one of the best restaurants in Chicago, it is worth the ride. I have complete confidence in Dr. Feffer and his staff. I can truly say, that my mouth has never been so healthy. There is a need to feel that you are expecting the best and really getting the best when you go to a Dr.s office. This is how I feel when I leave his office, and walk down the street with a bright smile on my face.
